The StethoScoop is UC’s very own weekly newsletter that the chiefs put together for the residency!

It aims to highlight several aspects in one place:

  • New announcements, events, scholarships, even fun happenings around town!

  • Changes to the wards, pharmacy updates, etc - weekly hospital updates

  • A weekly Boards-style question for practice - these are questions that act as spaced repetition for the week’s Academic Half Day/prior week’s lecture topics

  • The lecture schedule and the free lunch calendar

  • Resident-submitted anonymous shoutouts that honor each other’s gestures of kindness and celebrate each other’s outstanding performance or career achievements!

  • Pictures that residents submit that highlight our amazing culture and work environment, and how we nurture our friendships outside the hospital too!
