Academic Half Day: Antibiotics

This week’s AHD will be on the topic of antibiotics, an incredibly important topic of internal medicine! There is some light reading for before Thursday.

There are several preparatory options: #1 is required and you can then pick from the rest of the articles that you find interesting: 

  1. A work sheet for practicing identifying common bugs and drugs, based off this and this

  2. A review article about approaching antibiotics from a general sense (It is good but slightly dense)

  3. A brief guide from Stanford about treating UTIs

  4. A review article of Skin and Soft Tissue Infections (really good)
