Weekly Announcements: 1/11/19

  • Thank you to all faculty, residents, and housestaff who embarked on the geographic wards journey at UCMC this week. We couldn’t have asked for a better start. This smooth takeoff was largely due to you all who leaned in and embraced this new structure. We still have a lot of work to make this the best patient care and resident education possible, but we are on the first step of the journey.

    • Check out the UCMC Geographic Wards page to learn more about the general structure and specifics of each service. If you have questions, please ask Elliott or Greg.

    • Your input is vital for improvement, we will be having daily meetings at 3 PM in the UH NRR on Monday-Friday to get your feedback - we want to know what is working and what we can improve

    • If you miss a 3 PM meeting or want to know what was discussed, the minutes of these meetings and answers to questions will be posted daily in the “3 PM Meeting / Feedback” section on the geographic wards page

    • You can also fill out the feedback section at the bottom of the UCMC Geographic Wards page

  • Please fill out the request form for any Golden Requests you have for April 2019. You can find a link to the form in the most recent email
