Academic Half Day: Defense of the Measures 2023

We’ll be taking a break from our usual AHD programming for one of our favorite days! Each year, when our second years start their ambulatory experience, we take time to discuss which measures should be included in their quality metrics. Defense of the Measures is an opportunity for the new Long Blockers to debate the pros and cons of a few topics that may (or may not) be added to our resident Epic dashboard. The topics may already have evidence in their favor—but that’s not our question. Our question is: should it be added to the dashboard as one of the core measures?

There are no supplemental half day materials for this week since we’ll be debating the pros and cons of several topics. We’ll be back next week to learn about COPD!
