Code Stroke - We are working closely with our neurology colleagues to learn how to most effectively call a code stroke. If you are concerned that an admitted or observed patient is having stroke symptoms < 24 hours old, call 513-584-3333 and ask for an inpatient code stroke. Save this number to your phone. Calling this line ensures that the neurology team is paged. Reminder that if you are worried about a medical emergency or airway management to also call a rapid response! GIM Updates conference is a full day conference providing lectures of preference voted by the community, as well as an opportunity to break into small group discussions to promote reinforcement of the principles learned within each topic.
