To Mackenzie Day. We admitted a patient who looked totally fine, super stable. Her amazing ROS and PE resulted in her identifying an acute occipital lobe stroke, which we confirmed on CT. So impressed!! To Kelly McKay for immediately responding to a sick patient and escalating care for them. She was comforting, reassuring and empathetic throughout the entire encounter. She was incredibly helpful and is a SUPERSTAR! I appreciate her dedication to our veterans - From two thankful VA nurses. To Drake Seccurro for his dedication to patients, love of teaching, and ability to bring laughter to a difficult stretch of days. To Stephanie Thomas for making old man butterscotch cookies that were absolutely delicious. To Jon Huang for his great team spirit and growth mindset.
