To the Jeopardy pool. This week was a doozy. Especially to those who volunteered their time to be on back up jeopardy during fellowship interviews. You are all amazing humans - thank you or your kindness, understanding and teamwork. From - grateful chiefs. MAJOR shoutout to Mara, for absolutely locking down the VA Spa at night. She did an uh-mazing job recognizing and appropriately triaging a very sick patient going into cardiogenic shock. First VA Impella of the year??? Made a massive difference for this patient, amongst dozens of others. Proud to have a co-resident like you. To Monica Ferrante for absolutely crushing it on neurology! Such an amazing attitude and an incredible teammate, feel so lucky to have her with us this month. From multiple impressed neuro residents! To Hannah VanDusen for sharing what is arguably the best hematological pun in history when referring to Glanzmann’s thrombastenia as a Shakespearean problem; IIb or not IIb, that is the question…. To Dr. Merritt for going above and beyond with helping make a veteran more comfortable on a long ride home in an ambulance. She quickly addressed my concern at a busy time of day!
