Academic Half Day - It’s back! This week was our kick off to Academic Half Day and it’s as fun as ever. Seniors - when your schedule allows, we would LOVE to have your leadership and wisdom as preceptors at AHD. Click here to sign up! Book Club - We are gearing up to get our residency book club back up and running. Keep an eye out for an email in the coming weeks! Gym Access at the VA?! We may now be able to gain access to the VA Gym! (Yes, there is a gym at the VA - I didn’t know that either!) If you are interested - please reach out to our VA Chief, Drew Kelleher! Dragon Software at the VA!? It may be possible for a few select residents to start testing the use of Dragon at the VA. Right now, Dragons will be first come first serve. If they are in high demand, we might be able to get more! Interested? Talk to Drew! FYI - ophthalmologic and dental treatment room - there will be a new procedure room on campus for both ophthalmologic and dental procedures/care located on the 2nd floor in between the elevators and CVR, room Room 2249A. AOD’s beware of this new room if there is a rapid/code there are limited resources there (no oxygen, suction, etc). VA work room access - Resident work rooms on 6th and 9th floors now have secured access, you can either use the PIN - 52020# or resident badges should work for entry (students will likely have to use PIN #).
